Responsibilities
- Administer complex federal pension plans for veterans and beneficiaries
- Ensure strict compliance with federal retirement regulations (ERISA, FERS)
- Process retirement claims with 99.8% accuracy within SLAs
- Conduct benefit counseling sessions and retirement planning workshops
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on pension fund allocations
- Generate quarterly compliance reports for federal oversight bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Federal retirement certification (e.g., NIPA, ASPPA) preferred
- Proficiency with federal benefits systems (e.g., VBMS, HRIS)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and OPM retirement regulations
- Ability to manage confidential data with utmost discretion
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
