Responsibilities
- Monitor and audit pension plan compliance with ERISA and IRS regulations
- Investigate consumer complaints and plan violations through on-site examinations
- Develop corrective action plans for non-compliant retirement plans
- Provide technical guidance to plan sponsors, fiduciaries, and participants
- Analyze complex pension plan documents for regulatory alignment
- Collaborate with legal teams on enforcement actions and litigation support
- Stay current on evolving federal retirement policy and legislative changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or compliance experience
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS Code 401(k), and pension regulations
- Strong analytical skills for complex financial document review
- Excellent written/verbal communication for stakeholder guidance
- Federal background investigation clearance eligibility
- Professional certification (CEBS, CCP, or similar) preferred
