Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including TSP, FERS, and CSRS with 99.9% accuracy
- Process retirement benefit applications and resolve complex eligibility issues
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with ERISA and OPM regulations
- Analyze pension fund data using advanced Excel and specialized software
- Collaborate with HR departments to update employee retirement records
- Prepare monthly reports for Treasury and Congressional oversight committees
- Train junior staff on pension administration protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years of pension/benefits administration experience
- Federal HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP) or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and pension management software
- Expert knowledge of federal retirement systems (FERS/CSRS/TSP)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Available to work 11 PM - 7 AM shifts with rotating weekends
