Responsibilities
- Process and verify federal pension applications, claims, and benefit requests with 100% accuracy.
- Oversee night shift data entry and record maintenance to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
- Ensure strict adherence to FERS (Federal Employees Retirement System) policies and guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve complex discrepancies in pension calculations and payroll data.
- Communicate complex pension information clearly to federal employees and stakeholders.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols for sensitive government records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pension administration, payroll, or government benefits is required.
- Must be available and willing to work rotating night shift schedules (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal HR software systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
