Responsibilities
- Review and process pension claims and eligibility requests for federal retirees.
- Provide accurate information regarding pension plans, retirement ages, and survivor benefits.
- Ensure all night shift data entry is error-free and compliant with federal regulations.
- Handle high-volume customer inquiries via phone and email during night hours.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to resolve complex pension discrepancies.
- Update beneficiary records and maintain secure filing systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Public Administration preferred.
- Previous experience with government pension systems or retirement benefits is highly desirable.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict security protocols.
