Responsibilities
- Analyze federal legislation and regulations affecting veterans' healthcare and benefits
- Develop policy recommendations through data-driven research and stakeholder collaboration
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for senior leadership and congressional committees
- Coordinate interagency initiatives to improve veteran service delivery
- Monitor policy implementation outcomes and recommend adjustments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years federal policy analysis or government relations experience
- Expertise in veterans' affairs, healthcare policy, or social services
- Strong quantitative research and data interpretation skills
- Proficient in policy writing and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
