Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate environmental policies affecting federal lands and resources
- Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on regulatory compliance initiatives
- Monitor legislative developments and assess impacts on agency operations
- Manage stakeholder engagement with tribal, state, and local partners
- Ensure adherence to NEPA and other federal regulatory frameworks
- Develop data-driven solutions for natural resource challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal policy analysis experience
- Expertise in environmental regulations and compliance frameworks
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
- Ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
