Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate federal healthcare policy proposals aligned with departmental objectives
- Analyze legislative impacts and prepare comprehensive reports for congressional committees
- Coordinate with state agencies to implement federal programs across Texas and Virginia
- Lead cross-functional task forces addressing public health emergencies
- Present policy recommendations to senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Monitor regulatory compliance and recommend procedural improvements
- Maintain secure databases for sensitive policy information
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of federal or state government policy experience
- Expertise in healthcare legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Top Secret security clearance eligibility
- Proven track record of briefing senior officials
- Professional certification (e.g., CPPA, CPFM) preferred
