Responsibilities
- Oversee federal grant programs supporting veteran healthcare initiatives
- Coordinate interagency partnerships with state and local NC agencies
- Develop program budgets and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Analyze performance metrics and prepare congressional reports
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement policy changes
- Conduct site visits and evaluate service provider effectiveness
- Manage stakeholder communications with veteran advocacy groups
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- 3+ years federal program management experience
- Knowledge of OMB Circulars and federal procurement rules
- GS-13 level pay eligibility (equivalent to private sector $95K+)
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Experience with VA-specific systems (e.g., VISTA, VBA)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools
- VA preference eligibility (veterans, disabled veterans, etc.)
