Responsibilities
- Develop and execute federal program strategies aligned with VA mission objectives
- Oversee program budgets, ensuring fiscal accountability and resource optimization
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (FAR, DFARS) and agency policies
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program milestones and deliverables
- Analyze performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements
- Coordinate with congressional offices and veteran advocacy groups
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership and congressional briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years federal program management experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in federal grant management and procurement processes
- Proficiency with federal reporting systems (e.g., MAX, FPDS)
- Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with veterans' affairs programs highly desirable
