Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program initiatives to improve veteran service delivery in the Upper Midwest region
- Analyze policy compliance and recommend adjustments to align with federal regulations and veteran needs
- Collaborate with state/local agencies to coordinate veteran outreach and service integration
- Manage grant applications and ensure proper utilization of federal funding resources
- Conduct data-driven evaluations of program effectiveness and prepare comprehensive reports for leadership
- Represent the VA in intergovernmental meetings and stakeholder forums
- Mentor junior staff on federal compliance standards and best practices
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and background investigation clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal/state/local government program management experience
- Expertise in federal grant management and regulatory compliance (FAR, 2 CFR Part 200)
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with cross-cultural competency
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
- Knowledge of veteran service systems and VA programs
