Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program initiatives aligned with veterans' healthcare goals
- Analyze program performance metrics and prepare compliance reports for OPM guidelines
- Coordinate interagency collaborations with state/local government partners
- Manage grant allocations and budgetary oversight for veteran services
- Conduct policy research and recommend regulatory improvements
- Serve as primary liaison between veterans and federal healthcare programs
- Lead cross-functional teams for special projects under tight deadlines
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (mandatory for federal positions)
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- 3+ years of federal program management experience
- Proficiency with federal grant management systems (e.g., GWA, MAX)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Expertise in VA healthcare regulations (38 CFR Part 17)
- Advanced data analysis skills with SPSS/R/Excel
- Valid Oregon driver's license for travel requirements
