Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal programs supporting veteran healthcare access and benefits
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend regulatory adjustments for local implementation
- Coordinate interagency partnerships to streamline veteran service delivery
- Prepare comprehensive reports for congressional stakeholders and senior leadership
- Manage grant allocation and compliance for regional veteran initiatives
- Lead community outreach programs to enhance veteran engagement
- Maintain strict adherence to federal procurement protocols and audit standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in federal program implementation
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Expertise in VA healthcare systems and veterans' benefits programs
- Advanced proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., FPDS)
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent)
- Demonstrated success in cross-agency collaboration initiatives
