Responsibilities
- Develop and implement veteran benefit program policies and procedures
- Analyze program performance metrics and prepare compliance reports
- Coordinate with federal agencies and community partners on veteran initiatives
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders on program regulations
- Manage grant applications and funding allocations
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to federal guidelines
- Mentor junior staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years federal program management experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., MAX)
- Expertise in veterans' benefits programs (VA, HUD, DoD)
- Strong analytical and report-writing capabilities
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
- US citizenship required
