Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal healthcare programs for veterans in Southern Arizona
- Analyze program performance data and prepare compliance reports for congressional review
- Coordinate with local VA medical centers and community partners
- Manage grant applications and funding allocations for veteran services
- Conduct site visits and ensure adherence to federal regulations
- Train stakeholders on new program initiatives and policy changes
- Represent the VA at community outreach events and interagency meetings
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- 3+ years federal program management experience
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., GAINS, FPDS)
- Knowledge of VA regulations (38 CFR) and federal procurement laws
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
