Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit programs and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Conduct weekend client consultations and eligibility assessments
- Coordinate with federal agencies to resolve veteran service issues
- Prepare detailed program reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Train and mentor part-time weekend staff on policy procedures
- Analyze program data to identify service improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years federal program management experience
- Valid U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency with VA benefits systems and federal reporting tools
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse stakeholder interactions
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
