Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including FERS, CSRS, and military retirement systems
- Process retirement applications and benefit calculations with 99% accuracy
- Conduct benefits counseling sessions for transitioning military personnel
- Collaborate with OPM and Treasury on complex retirement cases
- Develop and implement retirement education workshops
- Manage pension fund reconciliation and reporting
- Ensure compliance with ERISA and federal retirement regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, or Public Administration (required)
- 3+ years of pension/benefits administration experience
- Federal retirement certification (FERS/CSRS) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft)
- Top Secret security clearance eligibility
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
