Responsibilities
- Conduct foot patrols and surveillance of federal facilities during night hours
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems for security breaches
- Respond to emergencies and incidents following federal protocols
- Control access points and verify credentials of personnel/visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations
- Operate security equipment including metal detectors and X-ray scanners
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
