Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during night hours
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials of personnel/visitors
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement agencies
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
- Operate security technology including biometric scanners and alarm systems
- Participate in emergency response training and drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security/law enforcement experience
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient in CCTV monitoring and access control systems
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal suitability clearance
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
