Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents during overnight hours
- Conduct regular patrols of federal facilities and perimeter areas
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security logs
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during emergencies
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric scanners
- Maintain constant situational awareness of facility vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency with surveillance systems and security software
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Familiarity with federal security regulations (FISMA, HSPD-12)
- Valid California driver's license
