Responsibilities
- Conduct foot patrols and CCTV surveillance of federal facilities during night shifts
- Monitor access control systems and verify credentials of personnel/visitors
- Respond to security breaches, alarms, and emergency incidents per SOPs
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Operate X-ray machines and screening equipment
- Maintain strict compliance with federal security regulations (FIPS, PPD-21)
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance eligibility
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and access control systems
- Valid California driver's license
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Pass DHS background investigation and polygraph examination
