Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct patrols of federal facilities during night shift hours
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations with appropriate protocols
- Verify credentials and screen personnel entering restricted areas
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance of security systems
- Enforce federal regulations and agency security policies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance eligibility
- High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency in surveillance systems and security technology
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to pass background investigation and medical screening
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
