Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 surveillance and patrols of federal premises using advanced monitoring systems
- Enforce security protocols, access controls, and emergency procedures
- Respond promptly to security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement agencies
- Conduct thorough security screenings of personnel, vehicles, and packages
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain security documentation
- Operate security equipment including CCTV, metal detectors, and alarm systems
- Collaborate with federal teams to implement security enhancement strategies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Proficient in security technology and surveillance systems
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to pass federal background investigation and physical fitness test
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
