Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly perimeter surveillance and access control for federal facilities using advanced monitoring systems
- Perform routine security patrols and respond to emergency incidents with tactical precision
- Operate x-ray scanners, metal detectors, and biometric verification systems
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed activity logs in federal compliance systems
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security enhancements
- Maintain strict adherence to federal security protocols and classified information handling
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Minimum 2 years of security/law enforcement experience or relevant military service
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) with weekends
- Proficiency in CCTV systems, access control software, and alarm monitoring
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal firearms qualification
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions
- Exceptional written communication skills for incident reporting
