Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct patrols to ensure facility security
- Screen personnel and vehicles at access points following federal protocols
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies with appropriate protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain security logs
- Operate metal detectors, X-ray machines, and other security equipment
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical situations
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and access points
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid state driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and documentation skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
