Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly surveillance and patrols of federal maritime facilities
- Respond to security breaches and emergency incidents within 5 minutes
- Operate advanced monitoring systems including CCTV and motion detectors
- Screen vehicles, cargo, and personnel for security compliance
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs
- Coordinate with Coast Guard and local law enforcement agencies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (mandatory for federal clearance)
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and polygraph
- Proficient in CCTV systems and access control software
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10PM-6AM)
- Clear speaking voice for radio communications
