Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security screenings and access control at federal facilities during weekend shifts
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents with immediate tactical coordination
- Enforce federal security protocols including TSA regulations and DHS directives
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security assessments for federal leadership review
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies during joint operations and emergency response
- Conduct routine perimeter patrols and vulnerability assessments of high-security areas
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive federal information and classified materials
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance)
- Minimum 3 years experience in law enforcement, military, or federal security roles
- Valid New York State Security Guard license and firearms certification
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring systems and access control software
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) with occasional overtime
- Exceptional situational judgment and conflict de-escalation skills
- Familiarity with NIMS and FEMA emergency response protocols
