Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments of federal facilities and critical infrastructure in South Florida
- Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports for congressional oversight
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies on counter-terrorism initiatives
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for natural disasters and security threats
- Oversee compliance with federal security regulations for maritime operations in Port Miami
- Train federal personnel on security protocols and threat awareness
- Monitor intelligence reports to identify emerging security risks in the Southeast region
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal law enforcement or security operations
- Proficiency in security assessment methodologies and risk analysis tools
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for reporting and testimony
- Knowledge of FEMA and DHS incident command systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to emergencies 24/7
