Responsibilities
- Monitor facility access points and surveillance systems during overnight hours
- Conduct regular patrols and security inspections of federal premises
- Respond to alarms and security incidents with immediate protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during emergencies
- Operate advanced security systems including biometric scanners and CCTV
- Enforce federal security regulations and access control procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Proficiency with surveillance technology and reporting software
- Pass comprehensive background investigation and polygraph
- Strong situational judgment and de-escalation skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during patrols
