Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly patrols and surveillance of federal facilities using advanced monitoring systems
- Enforce access control protocols and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement agencies
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain security documentation
- Operate specialized security equipment including CCTV, metal detectors, and communication systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security enhancements
- Participate in emergency response drills and security training exercises
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- Minimum 2 years security experience with federal/military background preferred
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Proficient in security technology and surveillance systems
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and climb stairs
- Strong communication skills and crisis management abilities
- Pass pre-employment physical fitness assessment
