Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct routine patrols of federal facilities during night hours
- Enforce security protocols, access controls, and emergency response procedures
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports for federal compliance
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during cross-jurisdictional investigations
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric scanners and alarm systems
- Conduct threat assessments and implement preventive security measures
- Train junior personnel on federal security regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Minimum 3 years experience in security, law enforcement, or military background
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in CCTV operation and access control systems
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Familiarity with FEMA Incident Command System (ICS)
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and respond to emergencies
