Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal premises during night shift hours
- Enforce access control protocols and verify credentials of personnel/visitors
- Respond promptly to security breaches and emergency incidents
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical situations
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance of security systems
- Participate in emergency response drills and security training
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and access control software
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
