Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during overnight hours
- Conduct access control screenings and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency protocols per federal guidelines
- Maintain detailed security logs and incident reports for federal compliance
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Implement TSA/CBP security protocols for high-risk facilities
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Minimum 3 years security or law enforcement experience
- Federal Facility Security Officer (FFSO) certification required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency in CCTV systems, access control software, and radio communications
- Pass rigorous federal background investigation and polygraph
- Physical fitness to stand/walk 8+ hours and respond to emergencies
