Responsibilities
- Monitor federal facility access points using advanced surveillance systems and conduct routine patrols
- Respond to security incidents with rapid assessment and appropriate protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Conduct thorough screening of personnel and vehicles entering secure areas
- Operate specialized security equipment including metal detectors and X-ray machines
- Enforce federal security regulations with professionalism and discretion
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Minimum of 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Proficient in security systems and surveillance technology
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS security certification
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
