Responsibilities
- Monitor federal facility security systems and access controls during night shift operations
- Conduct routine patrols and surveillance to ensure compliance with federal security protocols
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement as required
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports using federal documentation systems
- Operate advanced security technology including CCTV, biometric scanners, and alarm systems
- Collaborate with day shift personnel for seamless security continuity
- Participate in quarterly emergency response training and drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years experience in security, law enforcement, or federal operations
- Valid Maryland driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Proficiency with security software and surveillance technology
