Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct foot patrols to detect security breaches during night operations
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials for personnel entering secure areas
- Respond to alarms and coordinate with emergency services during nighttime incidents
- Prepare detailed security incident reports and maintain accurate activity logs
- Conduct vulnerability assessments of facilities and equipment during overnight hours
- Implement emergency response protocols for security threats after hours
- Ensure compliance with federal security regulations (NISPOM, DCID) during night shifts
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent; security certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in security systems and surveillance technology
- Emergency response certification (CPR/First Aid) or willingness to obtain
