Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct patrols of federal facilities during night shift hours
- Screen personnel and packages for security threats using X-ray and metal detection equipment
- Enforce access control procedures and maintain detailed security logs
- Respond to emergencies following federal protocols and coordinate with law enforcement
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security enhancements
- Train junior security staff on federal compliance standards
- Prepare comprehensive incident reports and security briefings
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Proficient in CCTV operation and security software systems
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong communication skills and crisis management abilities
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
