Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive surveillance patrols across 24/7 federal medical facility
- Operate advanced security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring
- Enforce federal regulations and VA security protocols with unwavering integrity
- Respond to emergency incidents following federal emergency response procedures
- Maintain detailed security logs and incident reports for federal compliance
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during after-hours investigations
- Conduct threat assessments and vulnerability analysis for overnight operations
Qualifications
- Active U.S. security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Minimum 2 years professional security experience in regulated environments
- Valid Florida Class D Security License
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficient in security technology systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Must pass federal background investigation and drug screening
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
