Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly patrols and surveillance of federal facilities to ensure security compliance
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms in real-time
- Perform access control screenings and credential verification for personnel
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security improvements
- Train junior security staff on protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficient in CCTV systems, access control software, and radio communications
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Strong observational skills and crisis management capabilities
- Completion of Federal Law Enforcement Training (FLETC) preferred
