Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols and surveillance of federal facilities during night shifts
- Monitor alarm systems and CCTV feeds to detect and respond to security breaches
- Enforce access control protocols for personnel, vehicles, and visitors
- Document security incidents, patrol activities, and suspicious behavior in official logs
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during emergency response situations
- Conduct routine inspections of perimeter security systems and physical infrastructure
- Train and mentor junior security staff on federal compliance procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- High school diploma or GED; associate's degree in criminal justice preferred
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Proficiency in CCTV systems, access control software, and alarm monitoring
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
- Successful completion of federal background investigation and polygraph
- First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts and overtime as required
