Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and conduct regular patrols of federal facilities during night shift hours
- Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and suspicious activities with appropriate escalation protocols
- Operate advanced surveillance equipment including CCTV, motion detectors, and access control systems
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation in federal compliance systems
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and federal agencies during joint operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security enhancements
- Enforce federal regulations and access control procedures for personnel and visitors
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years security/law enforcement experience or relevant federal service
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with security technology systems (CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
