Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure federal facilities using advanced surveillance systems and access control protocols
- Conduct regular patrols and threat assessments during nighttime operations
- Enforce federal security regulations and respond to emergency incidents per DHS protocols
- Document security breaches and prepare detailed incident reports for federal authorities
- Collaborate with federal agents and law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Maintain compliance with NISPOM and other federal security standards
- Train junior security personnel on federal procedures and emergency response
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years experience in federal law enforcement or security operations
- Proficiency with CCTV systems, access control software, and security alarm systems
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and holidays in high-stress environments
- Strong knowledge of federal security regulations (FIPS, NISPOM)
- Excellent written communication skills for incident reporting
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and respond to emergencies
