Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols and surveillance of federal facilities during overnight hours
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to security alerts and incidents
- Enforce federal regulations and access control procedures for all personnel and visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation following federal protocols
- Collaborate with federal agencies including FBI, TSA, and local law enforcement
- Operate specialized security equipment including X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and communication systems
- Participate in emergency response drills and security vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work overnight shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with rotating weekends
- Proficient in surveillance systems and security technology
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass federal background investigation and drug screening
- Basic First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
