Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 surveillance systems and alarm responses during overnight shifts
- Conduct physical patrols of federal facility perimeters and access points
- Respond to security breaches, medical emergencies, and fire incidents
- Prepare detailed shift reports and maintain incident documentation
- Coordinate with federal agents and local law enforcement agencies
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials
- Operate emergency response equipment and security technologies
- Participate in mandatory security drills and training exercises
Qualifications
- US citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years experience in security, law enforcement, or military service
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Proficient in surveillance systems and security technologies
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and respond to emergencies
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
