Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during night hours
- Conduct security inspections and enforce access control protocols
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement agencies
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security assessments
- Maintain compliance with federal security regulations (FISMA, NISPOM)
- Train junior security staff on procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to address cybersecurity threats
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in CCTV systems and access control software
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and overtime as needed
- FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) certification preferred
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
