Responsibilities
- Monitor federal facility security systems during night shifts via CCTV and surveillance equipment
- Conduct physical patrols and access control checks at high-security government installations
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations within 15 minutes
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation using digital systems
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Enforce security protocols for personnel, vehicles, and sensitive materials
- Participate in mandatory training on emergency response and threat assessment
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on rotating schedule
- Proficiency in security software and surveillance systems
- Physical ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift 50 lbs
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Preferred: Federal security certification or military police experience
