Responsibilities
- Monitor border surveillance systems during nighttime operations
- Respond to security alerts and coordinate with federal agencies
- Conduct patrols and inspections at designated border crossing points
- Document and report suspicious activities using federal protocols
- Operate advanced security equipment (thermal imaging, biometric scanners)
- Collaborate with CBP, ICE, and local law enforcement partners
- Maintain detailed security logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security/law enforcement experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient in surveillance technology and communication systems
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Pass federal background check and polygraph examination
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Physical endurance for standing/walking during entire shift
