Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments of federal facilities in Albuquerque metro area
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for security incidents
- Manage access control systems and conduct physical security inspections
- Collaborate with federal agencies on joint security initiatives
- Train personnel on security procedures and compliance requirements
- Investigate security breaches and prepare detailed incident reports
- Maintain compliance with DHS and federal security regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in physical security or law enforcement
- Familiarity with federal security standards (FIPS 199, NIST SP 800-53)
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring)
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to emergencies
