Responsibilities
- Conduct access control operations and security screenings at federal facilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents per SOPs
- Enforce federal regulations and security protocols during weekend operations
- Complete detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Perform perimeter patrols and access point inspections
- Maintain communication with command center during shift rotations
Qualifications
- Active U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid North Carolina Security Officer license (Level 2 or higher)
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Proficient in surveillance systems and access control software
- Strong written communication for incident reporting
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25lbs
- Must pass federal background investigation and drug screening
