Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols of federal facilities during weekend hours
- Operate access control systems and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts in real-time
- Enforce federal security regulations and document incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Maintain accurate logs of security activities and equipment status
Qualifications
- US citizenship and valid security clearance eligibility
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Fri-Sun/Sat-Sun)
- Proficient in CCTV systems and access control technology
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean record
- Successful completion of federal background investigation
- Physical fitness to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
